I LOVE Camping!

Even though it is TONS of work and it took me like 2 days to recover, I really love to go camping. I love being in the outdoors and enjoying the beauty that Heavenly Father has blessed us with. It's funny because JD and I love camping for very different reasons but it's really nice that we both love to do it. I think it is GREAT for the kids. They love it too! So here was our recent trip to American Fork Canyon with JD's sisters and their families and Aunt Nancy! We hope next year (we are making this an annual thing - that JD's brother and wife and JD's parents will join us). Nothing like roughing it!

Marissa loved getting her head wet under the spicket before our hike!

Rock World. The kids found this fun place and spent a lot of time there. Lots of rocks to climb up on and hiding places!

Here are all the cousins! They had so much fun together!

Random Fun and Pictures from the last week!

We got to go with our friends to their cabin last week. They loved the pool and the big slide! They keep saying let's go back!

On our way home from the cabin, Tanner was asleep within in minutes - even on the bumpy dirt road. He slept most of the way (by the way that is highly unusual). My kids never sleep in the car - only Marissa! I guess staying up till 11pm and waking up at 6am and then swimming will do that to you!

Daddy's dream - a family rock band. That's Tanner on the invisible drums, Josh on the invisible keyboard, Dawson on vocals, and Marisssa on guitar. They like to do this once in awhile and this was the first Marissa wanted to be in on it!

Rissy and her favorite puppy - Fudge!

Josh and Abby waiting for the fireworks!

Bobby and the kids playing football waiting for the fireworks.

Still waiting for the fireworks!

Finally Fireworks! Marissa loved them. She was totally mesmerized by the noise and lights!

Tanner reading books to his sister!

This is how I found Tanner at like 10:30 the other night. He must have fallen asleep with the shades on. I don't know how he did it. I laughed pretty hard! Funny boy!
